My tiny home and garden sit in the middle of a 24-acre
wooded hollow in the Appalachian foothills of Ohio. As an older woman living
alone and doing most of the work by myself, I don’t make the kind of progress
that I dream of, but I am plodding along, gradually accomplishing things like constructing
a little greenhouse, putting up a couple of solar panels,
building an earth oven. One of my goals is to carve out a lush garden of
perennials that will completely surround my tiny home and fill the clearing in
the woods.
